​​ARTIST'S PROFILE

Alan Williams studied printmaking and gained his University of Wales B.A. in Graphic Art. In 1997 he co-founded the Swansea Print Workshop and remains involved in its teaching program & with community arts projects sponsored by the workshop.

Alan teaches printmaking part time in Higher and Adult education. Alan Williams exhibits his work in Wales and has participated in exhibitions in New York and Brussels. ​“My current work revisits and explores the expressive possibilities offered by ​a mixed technique approach using woodcut and collagraph and etching”. ​

Alan regularly exhibits his work throughout the UK as well as exhibitions in diverse locations, ​including Japan, America, Pakistan and Belgium.

Astudiodd Alan Williams argraffu ac enillodd ei B.A., Prifysgol Cymru mewn Celf Graffeg.  Ym 1997fe  cydsefydlodd Swansea Print Workshop ac y Alan mae dal yn  rhan o'i raglen addysgu a prosiectau celfyddydau cymunedol.

Mae Alan yn dysgu argraffu rhan amser mewn addysg Uwch ac Addysg Oedolion. Mae Alan Williams yn arddangos ei waith yng Nghymru a thramor. ​"Mae fy ngwaith presennol yn archwilio'r posibiliadau mynegiannol a gynigir gan ddull techneg gymysg gan ddefnyddio torri pren a cholagraff ac ysgythru”. ​

Mae Alan yn arddangos ei waith yn rheolaidd ledled y DU tra hefyd yn arddangos mewn sawl lleoliadau megis Japan, America a Gwlad Belg.
