ARTIST'S PROFILE Kathryn designs and makes contemporary enamelled jewellery and panels in silver, copper and gold. A love of colour and pattern lead her to work with vitreous enamel and experiment with various techniques. Kathryn draws inspiration from the Welsh landscape and textile heritage, as well as recurrent themes of growth, repetition and nature. She was introduced to enamelling whilst on her jewellery degree at Middlesex University. From that day forward Katrhryn was totally hooked, loving the ability to play with layers of colour in a similar way to printmaking. PROFFIL ARTIST Mae Kathryn yn dylunio ac yn gwneud gemwaith a phaneli enamel cyfoes mewn arian, copr ac aur. Mae cariad at liw a phatrwm yn ei harwain i weithio gydag enamel gwydrog ac arbrofi gyda thechnegau amrywiol. Cafodd ei chyflwyno i enamlo tra ar ei gradd gemwaith ym Mhrifysgol Middlesex.
