​Meuryn Hughes draws inspiration from his passion for ​his family, fine art, music, sport and his love for the sea. These subjects are endless sources of material for his portfolio. ​

Meuryn Hughes is a self-taught artist who has painted throughout his life, mainly using oil. His oil paintings are varied, from nautical subjects to landscapes but portraits are his great love and, in this medium he excels, painting well-known figures as well as ordinary people such as his family and loved ones.

Meuryn was featured on the S4C magazine programme 'Heno' and was a commissioned artist in the ​3rd series of "Cymry ar Gynfas" on S4C.
